LEAF is named in honor of an individual who taught both of our providers that every individual has inherent value and to love and serve others and your community.  We have embraced this, and expanded it to embody an approach to care which includes four fundamental values.

Learning
Building a foundation of knowledge, insight, and skills that is beneficial.

Empowerment
Encouraging the development of confidence, agency, and resilience.

Attunement
Increasing mindfulness, improving self-awareness, and facilitating meaningful connection in interpersonal relationships.

Flourishing
Supporting intentional growth and well-being to allow creation and maintenance of a life that has meaning and purpose.

All Are Welcome Here

You belong here.

We are committed to creating a safe, affirming, and inclusive space for all. All people are welcome and respected, regardless of race, ethnicity, culture, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, ability, neurodiversity, socioeconomic status, or background.

Rooted in Collaboration

Our approach to all parts of the work we do is collaborative.  We firmly believe that each person has the desire and power within them to find the healing and growth they desire.  We view therapy, supervision, and learning as a partnership where feedback is an essential part of the process and the right to self-determination is honored.  Together we can discuss the necessary tools, resources, and options but you make the final decisions in your care.  We have found the best outcomes happen when you know your voice is heard and we work hard together toward your goals.

We strive to be authentic and vulnerable in our practice and embrace our own humanity, and yours, through radical acceptance.  We believe that life is about practice, not perfection, and that mistakes are a healthy part of learning and growth.  We work to create and maintain a safe environment to help combat the suffering that occurs when secrecy and shame are allowed to flourish.  We facilitate a culture of openness and tolerance to encourage the building of reciprocal trust necessary for collaboration and growth.

"In every change, in every falling leaf
there is some pain,
some beauty.
And that's the way
new leaves grow."
